I perfered the stick built construction of the the Summerland in case I have to repair it, and it was cheaper.. :) We also bought from Lerch and were very happy with the whole process. Lerch is a ZERO pressure dealer which I really appreciated after dealing with so many others trying to get one over on me.(Our sales person was Miriah who was great!) The PDI went well , the tech was very good and showed me everthing. You will love your new camper and all the memories you make with it!! Congrats!!Re: Advice on a Summerland 2670BHWe have 20 trips in ours so far over 2 seasons and have not had a single problem. We like ours a lot and it has a little extra counter space to the right of the stove, sure it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but for under 20 k it's hard to beat. Was looking at passports and while very light just wasn't a fan of the light weight construction. Do yourself a favor and look at the 2820, it has a 2nd door to the bathroom and larger bunks which would be great to have. If it was out when we bought ours that is the one we would have bought. In my opinion this does put you in 3/4 ton range though so I don't know if that is a problem. PaulRe: Black tank questionWow, I'm surprised to hear that this is happening. I would not buy until the salesman would run water in the shower with the black tank valve open. If they will not do this for you then take your money to a dealer that will. PaulRe: Black tank questionWhat brand do you have? Like was said, some put the bath sink into the black but I never heard of the shower going there. Your grey tank would be pretty full after a few showers (depending on the size )are you sure your valves are not labeled wrong? I wish my sink went into the black tank!Re: Reese Dual Cam issueIf you need a hand let me know . I will pm my number to you. I live very close to drums. (Lattimer) I have a dual cam on my trailer and have not had any problems. I set it my self. I'm sure we can get it close enough. I could look at next week with you. PaulRe: Water...please tell me it's gonna be ok!Glad to here a great outcome, and a two year warranty to boot!! Enjoy it!Re: Toilet recommendationsI like our dometic 310. Sits at a nice height and I like that it is porcelain .Re: Brand new RVer w/no AC wmoses wrote: TKW wrote: Regular 15A circuit will not run AC. Need min 20A SlowBlow circuit. X2. You need 110V noted above and in my case I ran aseparate circuit from the breaker to provide that 110V at 30A, just like in a campground. It should still at least try to run, it may trip the breaker but it has no way of knowing how many amps it is hooked to. I think something else is going on like the breaker is off or no power.Re: travel maps, programsAllstays camp and RV app.Re: Slideout on a 2009 Keystone SpringdaleMine is about the same.. 83000 miles but starting to rust. I also blew a brake line last month( we had just got home from our last trip that day..). I think I'm going to re gear to 4:30, I have 3:73 now but I am not impressed with the performance . The ford 4 speed transmission just shifts too much even with OD locked out. Otherwise I like it a lot. Some problems are to expected at 14 years old . For the gas mileage not towing (10.5) I could probably justify a diesel even at .65 cents more per gallon. Lol some day maybe. :) good luck with your slide I hope it is something simple! Paul
