In the day time we operate both especially when hot. so sometime air flow is from front to back and other times we want it flowing back to front. What I do on hot days when I need more cooling in front than can get from acnd as installed I set a 9" fan on the floor and move air from bedroom area to front. Can make a world of difference. Its really more of an entertainment video, rather than a how-to video. Although we have shot some other topics in a how-to format. We are still working on our video formatting, to see what works well and doesn't.HD Video Replacing Our Broken Carrier Roof Air ConditionerClick here to see: MotoVlog Replacing our Roof A/C Unit - HD Video We shot some HD video while replacing our broken Carrier rooftop air conditioner with a new Coleman Mach III. We used the Coleman to Carrier conversion kit which allowed us to keep our old wireless remote to control the A/C and heater. It took us about 4-5 hours but was really not to complicated. The hardest part was getting the new A/C unit on top of our 5th wheel. (Caution: This is an entertainment video, not a how-to) Have a great weekend! Click here to see: MotoVlog Replacing our Roof A/C Unit - HD VideoRe: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosThis is the crazy setup I put together for our full-time travels. It wasn't cheap, but it works well. I change the filters every 6 months. I sit the entire filter system unit into a large plastic tub inside the bay, doing so means I only have to winterize the water hose coming into the bay. I only have to hook up the city water to the unit and I am ready to roll. All of the water in the house is double filtered, the black water line bypasses the filter system and is always hooked up, it is turned on and off by a switch. I can see what the city side water pressure is and what the pressure is after it passes the residential pressure regulator. We really enjoy these boon-docking pics!Re: Show your mods!!We had Dish TV installed, needed a place to tuck the receiver. In our 2010 Open Range 385RLS we had never, not once, used the slide-out desk that is installed under the TV. So we removed the wooden "desk" top slide-out, replaced the hinges with hinges that hold the door open, and drilled a cable/access hole behind the TV to run the cables. We plan on tethering the receiver down with a cable over the top of the receiver to prevent it from shifting during travel.
