Works to the limit of battery capacity and two batteries may not last long. And assuming this is a 30 amp RV really needs 3600 watts to run everything normal, the 750 watts will limit what can be run. Microwave, A/C, electric water heater must remain off. Fridge must be set to propane only or may draw 350 watts near continuous and drain the battery. Most coffee makers etc are 1000+ watts. Run a small tv, charge phones and a laptop is all good. What else do you expect to run? There are some inverters that cannot be connected to the RV system and the RV battery as they don't like the negative battery and inverter sharing the same ground. Need to isolate the battery so that it connects only to the inverter. Re: Traveling via B&B/hotel vs RV I never feel locked into any of it. RV, hotel, motel, B&B, train, plane, car, cruise ship, bus are all good for travel depending on the journey and destinations. Probably done with backpacking and tents but may try a Yurt if the right situation presents. Safe travels to all. Re: No DC power So in the power center I assume voltage was checked on the 12v accessory wire that comes off the fuse(s) and goes to the 12v load, Yes? Otherwise need to trace where the voltage stops. Eventually there will be a connection, switch, fuse etc that has 12v on one side and nothing on the other. Although with ALL power out I would suspect the ground bus has become disconnected. Possibly when replacing the converter. Re: Really Cheap - 12v 100amp-hr Lithium Batteries Best not to charge near or below freezing, although storage is fine. If in use in the cold, look for a heater option if the battery is exposed. Re: Running A/C over draws the batteries causing inverter alarm Dometic 13.5, no easy start, vintage 2006, 30 amp trailer. Re: Air Conditioner causing Hot Skin I would start with the electric supply you are plugged into and check for reverse polarity there. Then check the main cord has correct polarity into the main panel. I doubt it is the air conditioner itself or the power feeding to it is causing the issue. Re: Running A/C over draws the batteries causing inverter alarm Yes my Go Power 2000w inverter runs my Dometic 13.5 with ease. For about the same space and weight of my 4x GC2 I DIYed a 1200 Ah LFP battery. Easily holds voltage above 13.0 under extended heavy load. Although my 4x GC2 would run the A/C for at least a few minutes while testing. Never tested how long they would run the A/C. Re: yes another ryobi issue Nothing plugged into the generator and says overloaded? Seems like an internal short or internal electrical control issue. Probably needs a pro to look at it or if new a warranty adjustment. Re: What gear should you drive on steep roads in a class a motorhome I find the sweet spot is some place between peak torque and peak horsepower rpm. With experience the engine should sound good and feel good. Hold the RPM and speed steady for the climb to avoid excessive shifting at near full throttle. Re: Running A/C over draws the batteries causing inverter alarm Also keep in mind 430 Ah is based on a 20 hour discharge rate. The 3 hour rate running the air will be closer to 300 Ah. Another good reason to add the two more batteries. Compare with US Battery US2200 https://www.usbattery.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/usb-ampere-hour-capacity.pdf
