Keep in mind an employer will probably want to you to stay for a season which can be about six months at a time. With the price of campsites now, workkamping is an attractive option. Residency is hardly ever questioned in my experience as you are a traveler. Re: Alternative awnings 30 year full-timer in 14 different rigs here. Try a Google search for what you are looking for as there are many options out there. For us, a 10x10 canopy which is easy to put up and down and can be placed anywhere works the best for us. Re: Portable toilet seal leaking I will second the motion for using silicone grease on the seals. Having had three curve toilets and having had leakage at the seal with all three, I discovered that if I used silicone grease liberally on all the seals, the problem was solved. I replace the grease each time I empty the tank. Re: Hitting the Road! Welcome to the RV lifestyle! As 30+ year full-timers, we travel from NJ to FL each Fall. We have found that traveling the secondary roads makes for a pleasant journey. We usually routes 13 and 17 all the way down to Georgia and find that there are lots of places to boondock along the way and the campgrounds are nicely spaced out. Have a good time and enjoy the trip! Re: Compact vacuum 30 year full timer here—after much trial and error we find the Dyson cordless vacuums to be the answer. Yes, they are expensive if you buy the latest and newest. Look for a refurbished one or a used one. They are great and break down in to a very small unit which is easy to store. Onan access door New to me Onan Microquiet 4000. When I tried to remove the access cover, both of the handles that turn to release the latches broke off in my hands! Looking for suggestions as to how to get the cover off so that I can replace the broken handles. Thanks for any and all input. Re: 1996 Pleasureway Based on current values for a B van, the price is right in line. Although it seems high, B vans are in high demand now—hence the high price. We have a ‘97 Pleasureway STW which we have owned for five years now. You won’t find a better RV than the PW!
