We will be traveling From Barstow, CA towards Kingman, AZ and I see a few options. I-40 is the most direct, but is it the best option? My main concern is trying to avoid Las Vegas and the steepest roads.
Curious, Why do you suggest to by-pass Needles and drive thru Bullhead City? Is it only because of gas prices or is it an easier drive? It appears to be the same distance but about 30 minutes more thru Bullhead City.
