I did drive the truck start/stop @ 5 times sunday night. Went to auto parts store and used their code reader, nothing came up??? Still had derate msg. Pretty crappy how EPA requires mfgs to derate diesels if a def problem pops up in the middle of nowhere. After much internet searching, found out that you NEVER fill def tank all the way up, do not use truck stop def, and use premium def! And dont travel on sunday when dealers are closed, as they are the ONLY ones able to clear the problem.493Views1like0CommentsRe: new 2024
Could have bought a newer used diesel crew cab for the price you paid for the 1500 single cab. The diesel hold their value so much better than the single cab gassers. Your new truck will be worth a LOT less in a couple of years. Plus the diesel pull like no tomorrow...lot safer in higher altitudes and going up and down mountains.1.5KViews0likes1CommentIs the inside of the exterior door panel cracking on your RV?
My 3 year old Winnegago had cracks going horizontal thru the inside skin of the exterior door. Out of warranty now so I replaced the panel with a new thicker panel from Home Depot for @ $45. Lippert built the door, so I imagine a lot of rvs have this issue. Pretty easy to change this out. You have to remove door from rv, then take apart the door, all hardware and outside trim, and window. Pull skin off and use as a templet for new panel. Reinstall. The panels from HD are 4x8 and are white or grey and textured. Looks amazing and a lot more solid feel to door.589Views0likes0CommentsRe: Got small kids in RV?
Guess you folks who comment thats its ok for kids to scream, screech, and yell all day long in crowded parks havent a clue about respect of others. Like I said, if my dog was barking all day, im sure folks would be upset! Take the kids to a park to yell, not a campground!1.8KViews0likes5Comments
