Proper maintenance is important. But blame also rests on the manufacturers for using water soluble glue and luan, which seems to dissolve when wetted, in the laminated wall construction. They don't effectively seal wall edges. These units roll down our rough roads at 65+ mph, rain or shine. Some water intrusion is likely. Build them to last!
