Then the recliners will be 8 inches taller than normal. The box is about 8 x 8 inches and extends the length of the couch underneath. so the recliner hardware for extending the legs would be in the way. If I did make a platform over the box, this would put the recliners 8-10 inches taller than normal. I want to convert the slide out sleeper couch into a twin love seat wall hugger recliners - Problem is the slide out gears are under the couch and a normal RV recliners will not fit over the box protecting the gears. Do they make a modified recliner for the slide out. 62" wide area. If anyone has done this or know where I could find this please let me know.
