Re: Kansas to Oregon Route Advice
I have driven that route 5 times. Never again. Three time I was stranded in Laramie, WY. Once for 3 days. It’s beautiful there but the weather is so unpredictable. It’s at a high elevation with vert high winds. Road closures are common. Even when I tried it one more time this summer I drove white knuckle the whole time. The winds were very strong and highway signs were saying road might close. I would stay on I-70 to grand Junction CO and then head north through Salt Lake City and Boise, ID.331Views2likes0Comments
