The original worked off both. All I did was replace what was there. I have owned my Jayco class C for 2 years and it worked fine before.

Kwikee steps
Replaced controller, motor and gear box. Everything worked great until I reconnected the house battery. The steps stay out and the door or switch do not work. When I disconnect the house battery the steps work fine on motor battery. I checked all connections and grounds appears ok. Frank
