They used to carry off the neighbors small dogs and cats when I lived in Arizona. Isn't nature wonderful?!!Re: Snakes and other things to look out forBe sure to carry some Benadryl to administer if they should happen to get bit. My beagles used to get bit by moccasins and copperheads when I lived in Oklahoma and they usually just swell badly around the throat area and have a hard time swallowing anything including water. Corals and rattlers might be a bit more harmful but dogs rarely die from snake bites but they do get pretty ill and the Benadryl will help until you can get them to a vet. Not sure what size dogs you have but just use common sense on the dosage since that is not on the directions as to how much to give dogs!Re: Philadelphia anyone? My wife and I did Philly last year and it was awesome~! Reading Terminal Market is a must an be sure to try a Philly Pretzel with mustard. Quite different and quite good! Constitution Hall is a must (arrive early as the lines can be long), the Liberty Bell, the double decker bus tour (lets you get off and on at various attractions) and great restaurants galore. Jim's for cheesesteaks for sure and of course, the Italian Market (especially DiBruno's). We found people to be very friendly and helpful and watch for the uniformed guides in the downtown area that are at almost every major street corner. They serve as goodwill ambassadors for the city and do a great job; very knowledgable. It you venture around the area, go to Longwood Gardens and Valley Forge. Philly is no more dangerous than any big city so just use common sense. We walked all over both day and night and never encountered any issues.Re: Less and Less PostsI first noticed this last year. My observation was the the number of posts and pages reduced dramatically over the fall and winter months and then increased in the spring and summer. This past summer it was not unusual to have 20 pages of posts on any given day and sometimes more. I think a big part of it just has to do with people putting their RV's in storage in colder weather and not thinking about it much until warmer weather. Just my observation.Re: Remote Start on F-250When Ford got the "better idea" of My Key, it changed the way remote start works. Now, the vehicle can be started with the remote fob but as soon as you open the door, the vehicle shuts off to prevent theft. No amount of begging or pleading with the dealer to reprogram will work (I have tried). There are "fixes" available on a number of websites but I have never been brave enough to try. So if your F250 has My Key, it will shut down! Not a "better idea" IMO!Re: Battery Tender - - Good Price!!??The Battery Tender on today's Woot is not the Jr. or any of the models in the $50 range. It retails for around $150 and usually sells for about $100-110. It is a much larger model, weighing 4 lbs. and does desulphate which is important for battery maintenance. Not sure what you are maintaining a charge on but this one is probably overkill.Re: Campground WiFiHmmmm? I thought one of the main points of camping was to get away from things like Wifi!Re: Battery Tender - - Good Price!!??FYI, WOOT is owned by Amazon. I usually check the Woot items at Amazon to see which is cheapest on any given occasion and most times but not always, Woot is less and usually a lot less.Re: kodiak camperFYI, there is a Dutchmen owners forum with info on the various models including Kodiak and the unit about which you are inquiring. Here is the link: http://www.dutchmenowners.org/forums/ This forum is also great and there may or may not be someone familiar with the Kodiak products but there will definitely be someone on the other forum. Hope this post is ok with the moderator(s).Re: Ipad use??How are folks using their VZ phone as a hotspot for the iPad? If the phone has wifi to share, the iPad should get the same signal?
