Traded an 08' Cedar Creek 35I4QB in on it. The new rig is definitely more roomy, has a ton more feature, is more comfortable, but I do think the cedar creek was built a bit more solid. Just some food for thought. Another recommendation for the Columbus 385BH. We have had ours for almost 2 years and love it!!Re: 2016 F-350 rear seat head rest removal?????Mine comes right out as well. Like others have posted above, feel under for release buttons and push the head rest up and out.Re: Reflection or Columbus? We have a 2016 Columbus 385BH, we did look at the 377MB though. It is a great floor plan. We didn't like it because we thought the bunkroom was on the smallish side with only the capability for 2 to sleep there. The loft made up for that though. The other thing we didn't care for was the 377MB doesn't have an outdoor kitchen and that was something we really wanted with our new unit. The bunkroom in the Columbus 385BH is huge as it has opposing slides. The 377MB rear living space is very nice though. Tons of room to stretch out and relax. The build quality of the Columbus so far has been great. We have only experienced a couple very minor issues. I can't speak for the Reflection as I haven't seen one. Good luck!!Re: Very New with 5th wheelWe have a Columbus 385BH. Our numbers are the same as yours. When we first got the trailer, we had SWR truck. Traded up to a dually a couple months ago and won't ever look back. Ours is a 2016 F350, but a truck from any of the big 3 will do the job beautifully.Re: 2016 Ford 250, 350 Super DutyHad a 2011 F250 and loved it. towed a 32' TT with it for about 5 years. Now have a large 5er which warranted the switch to a lrager truck. Now have a 2016 F350 lariat crew cab dually. Getting between 10-12 mpg towing our 5er which weighs in about 15k loaded. Our truck has 3.73 gears which helps towing but hurts the fuel mileage slightly, although our 2011 had 3.55's and we got about the same mileage. Get one, you'll love it!Re: Tow Options with Larger 5th wheelI have Progressive Insurance on the 5er. The insurance pays for a tow if the the truck towing it breaks down. I had a break down a couple months ago and they asked me if I needed a tow rig to handle both or just the TV. I had my Dad tow our 5er home (we were only an hour away) and my truck towed to repair facility. The agent did tell me that my policy would cover a big rig tow to handle both if the need arises.Re: Ford 6.7L Powerstroke V8 DieselMy apologies, I don't know why that double posted...Re: Ford 6.7L Powerstroke V8 Diesel 1jeep wrote: wow you guys really think everything on the road is junk nowadays? when I started driving all I could afford were cars from the early 70's...I don't recall much good about those aside from being easy to fix, which was done daily! Yes, warranty is a must with these new vehicles, not just Ford but all manufacturers. I was just out of the diesel engine warranty by time, but I had an extended ESP plan through Ford which is what covered my repairs. I put less than 10k/year on my truck as it is used primarily for towing duties. Someone asked why I would go back and buy another after a failure like this at 48k...I have no reason not to. Ford took care of me on this deal. I would still have that truck but like I said, I was overweight so I took this as an opportunity to upgrade to a 350 DRW. Ford went through growing pains with the 6.7L. It's their first in-house built diesel and like any other manufacturer, you will find weaknesses in the early ones. Ford learned their lessons and made production changes to rectify these weaknesses. I never had any other issues with the truck. In fact, as far as the engine goes, there was ever only one other warranty claim on it for an oil leak very early on. It turned out to be the oil separator and not really part of the engine. I work on cars for a living at a high line dealer. Even this brand, which will remain nameless, has their issues, including major engine repairs. Everything on the road today is junk, might as well drive what you like!!
