Make sure the ball is turning and is open in the proper direction. Working in chemical plants for 35 years I have seen many valves that the handle moved but the ball did not. Can really make you pull your hair out trying to find out what is going on. Good luck!Re: Is .22mag snake shot enough for moccasins? You did not say what part of MS you were golng to but there are plenty of rattlesnakes as well as copperheads and cottonmouths. I have killed plenty with 22 longs. If you have wet areas on the property be very cautious of the cottonmouths. I have a house on lakemary in southwest MS and have killed all three. The rattlesnake is the larger and may or may not give a warning. The moccasins don't give warning but all three will usually try to get out of the way. As far as killing a large snake with a shovel. IT can be done but make sure you hit the head or remove it. I have killed cottonmouths with heads allmost as large as a mans fist, be as big arround as a mans arm but only 3'to 4' long. When hit with a shovel and not killed they can get real mean and can strike or jump almost the length of a shovel.Re: Minor rant about fifth wheel layouts. The one thing we really liked on the Redwood was the king bed slide in a slide. I really makes the bedroom larger. Sorry to have been so negitave in last post.Re: Minor rant about fifth wheel layouts. The wife and I have been to 3 RV shows in the last few months trying to decide on a fifth wheel. I Think she/we have found the floor plan we like and have come down to three makes, Tradition, Cedar creek and RedWood in the 38'RE. We are both large people and need extra room ln the bedroom. We found the Tradition and the Cedar Creek to have plenty of room. We really liked the looks of the Redwood but have read many post and heard several negative comments from people at shows. I think Redwood is in the bag for now.How are the road grades through CanadaMy wife and I are planning a trip to Alaska. We plan to travel through Banff and Jasper on the mountain route. We are going to buy a large fifth wheeler and a new truck and start fulltiming for a while. I have pulled travel trailers all over the country but have never traveled these roads. I am concerned about the grades on this trip and would appreciate any information anyone could give me.
