Keep well all!Missing TIPA travel buddy just got turned back at KM21 because he had an outstanding TIP on The MH he traded in on a new one last spring. Any suggestions on how to exedite getting the old TIP cancelled? Thanks BobRe: Robbery South of PenascoSorry to hear of this family's ordeal but you have to admit they were driving and towing the equivalent of a "candy" store. Glad they are safe. The father did exactly the right thing. It is just stuff.Re: Any problems crossing the Laredo border going south lately?Read the topic before this one!Re: Handling issues 2005 Fleetwood Expedition 34HBeen there with my freightliner chassis! Do the following: Alignment Steersafe kit from Demming NM. Install it yourself. Koni fsd shocks all around. Originals were toast at 30k miles. Replace the bushings(4)on the front axle sway bar. Easy job. 95psi in all 6 tires.you will have a 5-10% safety margin bases on load. I did the above and now my 03 Discovery 39s is a two finger one handed drive. No stress now! Total cost approx. $1200. Believe me it worked! BobRe: Class A Roadside AssistanceOK I have waited for the appropriate time to add my two cents to this topic. Last year in early Nov just east of Texarkana our diesel shut down. It was a Sunday aft at the start of hunting season. Good Sam was not able to find anyone to help us after many calls backand forth. I asked the call center to document this on file at the time. Now on our own six hours later I was able to get Breeley Tow service in Texarcana to come and get us. The price was rediculous for 70 miles over $2200 cash but what are you going to do with heavy traffic passing by at 70mhr three feet from your rig its getting dark and the DW frazzeled with me not far behind. OK Breely was pricey but their service was top notch! I would recommend them again. Here is the cudo for Good Sam. They fully reimbursed the total amount with no nonsense. All of these roadside service programs operate through call centers. The big issue is do they come through with the cash on a claim. My vote is still Good Sam. They have helped me in Canada, the US and Mexico over the past 11 years. BTW the engine control module had failed. Gotta love computers! Safe travels all and keep well BobRe: Bad thermostat? Some of the RVP thermostsats were suseptible to RF inerference from flourescent lights and cell phone chargers. The Tstats wouold just blank out to 0000. Depower your tsat and any of the above then restart the tsat to see if that is the issue. Been there done that. Good luck BobRe: Running norcild 1200 off the alternatorThe shop ran new wires from the alt B÷ to the chassis batt and the pos side of the starter solenoid. Also new ground wires to the chassis ground post and the neg chassis batteries. A bit of overkill but everything works and I do like redundancy. The failure was total, no output. I am starting to think the wiring may have been the issue to start with. Thanks for all your comments. We all learn on the forum which makes it a wonderful resource for all of us. Keep well my friends! BobRe: Running norcild 1200 off the alternatorThanks for all the feedback. I tried running the fridge on gas while driving above 5500 feet and it did not cool well so I switched to AC as the manual recmmends. It was a bit cooler but not as good as my old 1200. This is a brand new 1210. The old one had a six year Amish unit that nearly burned up my coach. I know I should have gone with a residential unit. By the way the alternator did not fail while operating on ac while driving.
