I agree with the iPad folks. Been using an iPad and a Samsung note for two years now and have come to the conclusion for the third time (one phone and a different tablet) that Android OS just isn't up to the job. The Samsung would loose GPS and freeze the map. I would turn on my iPad and it has connected every time from a cold start. When you are up in the mountains with no cell phone data service the GPS becomes critical for navigation. Software is a personal choice but I always keep my PDF maps up to date. I hear this but believe it is 90+% hype to sell a new gadget. The reason I say this is I have never heard a 1st person story about any RV Camp with reversed polarity, low voltage, etc. Does anyone have a 1st person story about "bad" electricity at a RV park? I was in the 1/2 ton quandary. Owned a F150 with 30K on it and did not want to take a bath buying a new truck. Here is what it took to be safe IMHO. LT tires Class IV hitch HD Shocks 4.1 differential Firestone rear air bags. Anti-sway hitch Trailer brake controller That is $5K or so and I still have a 1/2 ton truck. $5K would have gone a long ways in purchasing a good used 3/4 ton truck already equiped with all the above.353Views0likes0Comments
