All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: How long did it take you to decide on a TTWe decided to try it out first. We bought a junker and tried it out for one season. We are not full timers. I use to be a serious long distance motor cycle rider and really doubted that I could sit in a stationary chair and stare at the trees for hours. I can't but I'm getting better at it. I bought a little rubber dingy, stuck a motor on it and then found some friends to go camping with. That was enough for us to make a bigger investment (expense, more like it). My wife absolutely loves it and she deserves it after years of using half our vacation without her.Re: Any tips on the tankless water heaterWish i could help. I have an Atwood and seems to be ok so far but generally you will probably have to balance incoming water temp with flow. As far as the 40 psi you have, where are you measuring it. And is it still 40 with the faucet open. I would at least try it with the filter and regulator removed. I think you have see if it is getting cold because the burner goes off or runs out of capacity. If it is capacity, close the valve a little. If the burner cuts off because it is too hot, turn the hot water on on the sink at the same time. If it then stays hot, remove the restriction in the shower head. My guess is it's getting too hot. Also, if it is getting too hot you might be able too turn the gas pressure down a bit. The problem is that the flow requirement changes with the season. Good lick and let us know if you solve it or throw it out.Re: Please recommend an all-season travel trailer with bunk bed?Check out the Evergreen I-Go 256RB. Easy towing, light, and good build. They are a little narrower than most but have a deep slide. They are also insulated between the frame rails. Down to freezing and with four people in it you should be able to heat it with a tiny electric heater without the furnace coming on. They use a lot of on demand hot water heaters too; nice for long hot showers provided you are hooked up to the sewer. It's a real luxury in really cold weather.Re: Using Slides in Freezing WeatherActually extending and retracting.Re: Using Slides in Freezing WeatherI had trouble with mine once when the temperature was in the teens. One side would begin to extend but the other side didn't budge. I ran my fingers around the seals and they were free. I finally turned the furnace on and 30 minutes later both sides started working. I never figured out what the problem was.Re: coleman mach1 & honda2000 updateAll true with the watts, amps volt things but at 95 degrees the generator motor makes les power due to thinner air. Same goes with high altitudes. Everyone is correct.
