I would think for the peace of mind at some time in their future they may no longer be able to drive or the death of a spouse... To me, it would be a sense of security... At some point physical limitations would make traveling and the maintenance of a trailer, motorhome, rv in general just too overwhelming.... see if they are the orginal owner if so they more than likely have a purchase agreement with the place that sold it too them or purchase contract.... They should have some type of paperwork to go with it... And some people want to try and trade you cars boats livestock whatever.... Just some food for thought... If you get an inkling of an idea what you finally want to buy... Go rent one similar for a week or 2 and see if it truly suits your needs... Yup or like my camper I have a couple of 12vlt Cigarette plugs like in your car to run similar items... You might not even need an inverter if you have a couple of these... You can also buy an extension cord for them at campering world or pepboys... I have a 12 vlt fan that does a really nice job of moving the air around at night...
