I did!! And didn't have to rebuild the front end after 19000 miles :B Amen to that. Our church bus is a 26 passenger body on a E450 chassis. Basically the same set up as a 28' class c. We bought it new and have maintained it vigorously. At about 20,000 miles all ball joints had to be replaced at our cost. The front end has always been out of alignment. We've taken it to several different shops and they all tell us it is as close as they can get it. So since it was new the steering wheel is slightly rotated counterclockwise. What a joke. Now this last week I noticed a howling or moaning sound in the front while traveling at low speeds. Yep, you guessed it, bad wheel bearing. The unit only has 32,000 pampered miles on it!! The dealership told me that this is a commonality on E450s and I am lucky I havent had more problems than what we've had. Unbelievable.Re: Shiny RV with Red Max Pro (pics) jarviswin wrote: I haven't read all 37 pages yet, but the one question I have is: How would someone get to the front cap of a Coach House. They call it a class C, but I call it a B. I have sat on my patio cover (all wood) but that ain't to smart of a thing to do. Any response/help would be appreciated. I do the top half of the nose cap from the roof, laying on my stomach reaching down. Then I do the lower half with a step ladder, positioned in front of the rig.Re: Shiny RV with Red Max Pro (pics) campbrojo wrote: Our rig looked GORGEOUS after the Red Max application. It wintered well and looked great in the spring. Then...hubby took it to live in it while we transfer to North Carolina. It was filthy so he took it to a truck wash. Say goodbye to the Red Max. I have no idea what kind of cleaner they used on it but when I saw it in June I wanted to cry. :S Now it has to be done again, as soon as I can get to NC and prep it and apply it again. Hubby is not interested in doing it himself. :M It may not have been the car wash. My rig lost its brilliance after one year. Floor wax will dull naturally over time. I simply washed my unit and applied another coat. Instantly brought back the depth and shine. I guess I will have to do this anually. All well. Its worth it.Re: Shiny RV with Red Max Pro (pics)Everyone be warned that the ultra high gloss sheen will slowly fade. I did my rig last fall and it has lost its luster. I am going to apply another coat this week which I'm sure will brighten it up.
