Dan was such a outgoing and long time supporter of Old Fella. He will be missed. Prayers for the family.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}I am very saddened by this. Richard was a good man and friend. I last talked to him on the Sept. 28th, two days before the stroke and he felt he was stable but not happy with his disability. He was ready to go and is now with family and his beloved pets. Godspeed Richard, you were a blessing. Prayers for Sue and family.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}I have talked to Richard several times over the last few days. He has had more strokes, up to 5 now. He just got out of the hospital from the last one about 5 days ago. His sight continues to deteriorate, walking is more difficult and has some memory problems. He also has issues with staying awake, sleeping 12 or more hours a day. All things considered, his attitude is great and keeps trusting in God. He asks about the Old Fella Thread but his laptop computer has died, so between that and vision problems he cannot get on it. He is wearing a heart monitor to try and detect what might be causing the strokes. He misses everyone and asks we just keep praying for him. Charlotte and I both received our Moderna vaccine on January 8th. She was high on the list because of her MS and taking immune system suppressing drugs. She has rarely left the house since last Febuary and is a little stir crazy. I hope they have some for the second dose. My arm was sore for a day and that was it. No other side effects. Every one stay safe and hang in there till this thing is over.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Happy New Year everyone. Every one stay healthy and safe. Dan, I also share your thoughts. Because of Charlotte's MS, we are on the list to get the vaccine soon. Hope it happens.Re: Need help with water connectionsHad one a lot like that one. If he is wanting to use city water hose to #2, #4 to Normal flow(current photo position) and #5 winterize to off. It is on in the photo so he would not get city water. Also, #3 hot water heater by-pass is on (bypassed) in the photo.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}2011 was our first rally. I look at my picture from back then and wonder what happened between then and now. I got old. Sure makes me miss Gary.Re: Inside Tire Wear?I would expect that the new axles were not aligned. Had the same type of wear on my trailer and the axles had lost some of their camber (bow). You may not have had enough when the axles were installed. I had the axles realigned. They used a large air powered hydraulic jack to bend them. As side note. My 2011 36' DRV MS came factory with 7000# axles and I agree that they are not heavy enough for the trailer.
