Like the one that says if don't feel comfortable where I am move on. Have cell so will keep daily updates with kids. Fulltime shakedown in daughters yard. LOL. Easier to handle the Class C than a bigger one. Downsizing for sure.Re: Hobbies on the road?Have a 26' class c. wintered in it for the past 4 of 5 years. I quilt, sew, write, and blog. Converted the overhead bed into a storage area. Carry my projects in those deco boxes. Can easily pull one out to work and keep all pieces in it when not actively working. I did depend on the community rooms in the parks for assembly of the quilt. I have never been stuck in the Rv for more than a couple of days due to bad weather. I do depend on the community center for a place to socialize when I am getting cabin fever. I use a cargo net to keep my stored activities from shifting when I travel. A folding table outside the door on nice days gives me extra workspace. Good luck. You can always find a spot to stow what is important to you. Just leave something less important behind!Senior Single RVingSo is anyone else out there RVing, a single senior? I am in the process of divesting myself of my home. I own a small class c and plan to live in it full time for a couple of years. Today is my 73rd birthday. Am I crazy or what? How about you? Are there any other crazy old ladies who have decided to live on the edge? I have 2 small dogs and will be towing a Tribute. I have spent winters on the west coast in the past years but have always come home to the stick house. I know that this is a stage of life for me but what the heck. I don't have a great deal of time left so why not! Tell me what you are doing? Have you had any negative experience if you have done or are doing this. Sure would like some stories to leave with. I am "MOVED IN". I am no longer tied down with "stuff". I will have a "give away" for the kids and grand kids this coming month and then will leave for the winter if all goes well. I plan to spend the summers in my kids back yards and am starting there now. A month with each should wear us out for a year.Re: mazda tribute.Did check site with lube pumps. No information for the Mazda. Also is a lube pump a permanent installation? Don't want to be dinging around every time I tow. Stow and go is my motto. Dolly thing is a pain. Always have to get help to get it lined up. Use cheat bar for tightening but want to drop the weight of the dolly too.Re: mazda tribute. So the manual does says dolly it. I did the year before and all was good. I do it when I take it. Am wondering if there are SUV's that are automatic that can be towed. I would trade it for one if so. Getting old and being a woman on the road alone means avoiding any problems I can. Suggestions for other vehicles. Yes, Escape is one. Others?mazda tribute. This topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 27029005mazda tribute. Can a mazda tribute be towed on all 4 or only dollied? It is a 4 wd but only as needed. I have heard that it could but dolly it.
