She was "Mom" to him until he died at age three. She never was the same after that. She missed him so much.Re: Your Favorite Boondocking PicsMy concern camping on the desert would be of getting lost. When I boondock in a National Forest I have roads and compass...and just bought a TomTom. No roads on a desert, probably not cell service, do you have to stick close to a main road? Thanks, AndreaRe: Your Favorite Boondocking PicsAnother free campsite in the Superior National Forest... Re: Your Favorite Boondocking PicsJune, 2004 in the Superior National Forest...Minnesota, Karma loved to camp too!!!! Re: Your Favorite Boondocking PicsBird Island Basin on Padre Island, TX fall of 2004Re: Your Favorite Boondocking Pics Re: Pet Food RecallJust saw notice on ABC national news this morning. Makes me sick. I have always spent the "extra buck" on Eukanuba (made by Iams) until they were two years old and then switched to large breed Iams. So paying for high priced dog food means I could be killing them. It is a disgrace about how both we and are pets are becoming ill and dying from eating supposedly "safe" foods. I don't know what the answer is...it is not feasible for everyone to move to a farm and grow and process our own food. I remember living on a farm and the dogs ate what we did and don't recall them having illness of this nature.Re: Maintenance Reminder for Full-TimersGood suggestions....but I could not help but crack up at the following.... FireDude, "RV Exterior... Mine still look new after 2 years." Only two years old......it SHOULD look like new!!!!!
