I had a rear outer dually blow when fully loaded, probably overloaded. Messed up the wheel well braces exhaust pipe. No control issues beside my wife’s screams at the sound.

Sounds like an old avion. Is that the brand? Sorry to hear of your problems. I had one fail but it fell into the corner of my truck luckily. That held it up and was able to use bottle jacks to get it level

For years on my 97 f350 I ran my bags at 30 pounds. Leveled me out nicely. I also have helper springs. For the heck of it I wanted to see if I could get a “softer ride. I was amazed the difference in ride around 15 psi. I was not level but not too bad and at least it pleased my wife who always complained about the rid being so jarring

Well I have a diesel dually now. My next truck camper could go on a srw. I know the advantages of a dually. Trying to educate myself on the advantages of a srw.
