Re: Exterior Painting of Motorhome
I painted my 1988 Coachman myself ( i have owned it since about 1991)I painted it several years ago. There are pictures posted on IRV2, under what did you do to your old motorhome today (i painted it).Auto paint and misc. supplies about $1000. The hardest part, getting it ready to paint. Let me add , pictures are posted on IRV2, (post your vintage photos here) page 86. My before picture is on page 87.

Re: Tires. How old is to old
What if,( my motorhome )tires have always been stored inside building, with pads between cement & rubber, only outside when on trip. Has got to be longer then about 7 years.

I did a brake job,1988 Coachman class A. Removed,cleaned, & new seals in calipers, replaced brake pads, new hoses. Boy those wheels are heavy! Did not turn rotors, they looked OK.

I painted my RV myself for about $1000.00 in paint & other supplys. I have a picture on IRV2 under "what did you do to your old RV today" Titled ,I painted it. I would post picture here, but it is to hard for me. Pappyralph.

I started geting my 1988,31ft.Coachman ready to paint. I have owned it since 1990. I am takeing off the stripes,sanding,etc. I will attempt to do it all myself, inside my MH building, We will see. PappyRalph
