Got the E1 error. Did the initialize and nothing. Turned unit off at breaker and pulled 12v fuse. Did initialize and it started back up.Before I do the initializing I unplug and plug in the phone cord that goes from the tstat to the unit at the unit....

Ours is also peeling, it was replaced under warranty in 2018 because the heated seats failed,so its about 3 years old.We would like to go furniture shopping but won't due to covid. I like the reupholster idea and will look into that.
