Adding a 30 A connection to my 50 A 2014 Cougar
Since I like to heat with a 1500 watt heater while hooked up to 50 Amp, I have trouble with using other high draw appliances also. Most 50A pedestals also have a 30A outlet. I know I can add a 30A hookup to my trailer, and wire two 15A outlets inside for the heaters to use. The BIG QUESTION is - can the pedestal handle the 80 Amp draw, or are they max 50 Amps per pedestal ? Any way to test, short of asking the park (I would prefer they not know about my double-dipping, especially if the A.C. is no extra charge).2.3KViews0likes13Comments
