All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Towing high wall vs regarding pop upI tow our Rockwood HW 277 (High Wall) with my wifes KIA Sedona Mini Van. We get 18 miles to the gallon towing at 55 mph (always). Does really good, I also cannot see too much behind me, but as it was said in Cannon Ball Run (I think), italian accent "What is a behind me is not important". :CRe: Why is this subforum so slow next to Hybrid & TT subforums?I post photo's when I can in the sticky but reading prior entries they only want photo's in there without discussion. Recently I got in a minor discussion regarding tow vehicvle but when I can I will not comment as it seems they don't want us to. I like looking at what people are up to but I don't have alot of advice. I'm not negative but I would certainly appear stupid.Re: Oh boy. We're in a mess. Roof rebuild FAIL.This whole thing sounds like something my wife and I would/have go or gone through :D The picture looks like it turned out very nice, hope the inside looks good. I'll bet that with the screws and paint it's going to be nice to look at, and water proof. P.S. I never thought of the bed liner as a water proofer. Our old pup had leaks here and there and I used silicone sealant, alot of time and energy. I like the idea and look of the the bed liner, good job. Now go enjoy. And I think this time and money will be returned several times over with the fun you guys are going to have with it. :CRe: Photo Thread - Post Your PUP Pics HereSecond try. On our way to Pahrump, Nv. April 2013. LakeSide Casino and RV Park. Cooking dinner. The beach and cabanna. Re: New Rockwood HW277We'll See, thanks for the followup. Myself and the DW love the set up of this trailer. It is very comfortable and spacious. You can access storage from outside at the door is a small cubbord I keep tools and set up supplies, and an access panel on the back side that you can get under the dinnette. Open the travel door and there is two cubbords inside immediate right you can get to and the outside kitchen has 2 drawers you can store in as well. The fridge is a piece of cake to get to. Open the travel door and you have to crawl a little, but you can get in and out of the fridge with it closed up. When traveling we use the fridge instead of a ice chest to keep our road lunch. You do have to put the table down to fold up. Once down we put the shower/bathroom door on the table. We are really enjoying it. We love PUP camping but want all the comforts now. :B ScottRe: Photo Thread - Post Your PUP Pics HereHere we are, 3 days in Lone Pine, Ca. Re: New Rockwood HW277Thank you all for the words. We love the new trailer. We had a Coleman Larame new from 1986. Gave that to my DD and her family and bought this one. Here is a picture of the outside kitchen you inquired about. DW cooking the onions while I was BBQing the brats. We realiy like this setup. P.S. Any left over brats cut up and cooked in scrambled eggs next morning are out of this world. New Rockwood HW277Purchased a new Rockwood HW277 last summer.
