It's more about getting out than what your getting out in. I would buy used and reasonably priced and don't hesitate to sell and buy something else if you don't care for it.Re: Curious on the social aspect of rv'ingDouble postRe: Curious on the social aspect of rv'ingAlways be social. That's what camping is about.Re: Which engine for a used Winnebago Journey?I have a cat and it seems like a good power plant. If given a choice I'd prefer a cummins, but there are more important things.Re: Ongoing saga of the motorhomeI like that you are open minded to a misunderstanding and giving it a chance. That being said if they even gave the slightest indication of rushing or leading my inspector, I'd be out of their. The inspector needs full freedom to give a non biased evaluation.Re: Are you dissatisfied enough to change your hitch?I've removed reese to go to B&W.Re: changeing sway bar bushingsAs said easy job. Take some liquid wrench or equal to help it along and if there's pressure on anything use leveling jacks to assist.Re: Winnebago Journey versus Ultimate AdvantageSMLRANGER covered it well. UA is a mugh nicer unit but it's personal preference as to how nice you need. I'm sure I'd be just as happy minus a lot of options.Re: RV SWAYAnother vote for cheap handling fix (if possible) and polyurethane sway bar bushings while your at it. Also check tire pressure. Then drive it and determine if further work is needed, in my case it wasnt. (Old rig was f53)Re: Why does a DP cost more to maintain than a Gasser?Diesels also go much farther between changes and tune ups aren't required. In the long run they're cheaper than they appear
