All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Purchasing a Silverback by Cedar CreekWe have a 2004 Cedar Creek Silverback 29lrbs and we just love it. We have made trips to Colorado and many stays along the gulf shores of MS and AL. Your right with the quality. We only had one issue with the miles we have put on it and that was the slide door going into the upper deck. On our trip to CO, driving along the "smooth" interstate freeways, the door broke the back panel and came off the track. It was a challenge to get back on the rack, but once I got it on track, I put some dowel rods in the door to keep it position and all is well now. The rest of 5er has been great. Know you will have many years of camping fun.Re: PVC vs EPDM roof for 5erThank you, everyone for your responces. I will take all in account when I make the decision. g4sbrg, thank you for your info. This gives me the ammo to ask all the right guestions.PVC vs EPDM roof for 5erFirst, I sure love this forum. Have received great feedback on many questions. Now, I have a guestion on roofs. My Cedar Creek roof needs replacing and the local RV shop suggested a new PVC roof. They did mention that in the beginning the manufacture had a problem with pin holes, the shop claims the problem has been fixed. Has anybody out there in the RV world has had any issues good or bad on the PVC roof?PVC vs EPDM roof for 5erThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 28023375
