How many hours were spent charging ,and how far could you go on a average charge. Looks like a great trip ,beautiful scenery, and apparently trouble free travelRe: Considering GoodSam Roadside...Questionsmy experience with goodsam is they pick the nearest location for service and if you want a different location they will do it if you pay a per mile charge for any additional miles farther than there selected location. Couple years ago it was 1.40 a mile.Re: dissecting a Lippert Ground Control 3.0 landing legthere are some pictures posted on jayco owners forum under 5th wheels and heading 3.0 ready to fail . saw it todayRe: new satellite hook up?I have hopper and joeys in my home and use a old 211k in my rv on the same account with a old winegared carryout 1518 I bought 8 years ago it all works as long as you pay the fee for each receiver the old ones work along with the hopperRe: Tracking miles of trailer?this is a digital meter programmed to tire size rvsolutions.usRe: question on on hitches on the back of fifth wheelstalk to the guys at mightyhauler.com they may advise as to weather your 5th wheel has enough capacity to handle a lift.Re: front deck TH choicesjayco octane super lite 210 GVW near 10,000 so I don't know why super lite, big deck overall near 36ft. Bed slides out rear .Re: Adding big deck/ extra axle to a 5er. Carry 4 motorcycles.the biggest problem I see in doing this is no matter how many axles you add the legal GVW is printed on the side of the trailer and raising it is very difficult in my state ,I don't know about where you are. The addition of axles and tubing and bikes will likely put you over the original GVW. Chances of being caught are slim but you could be stopped and not allowed to continue without correcting the overload situation . This would be one of my concerns.Good luckRe: Ohio Turnpike rest areasI think they have a max 40ft. length restriction and no explanation about unhooking and putting you tow vehicle along side on diagonal painted lines or in normal parking area. I did this with 38ft. 5th wheel and dually and no one said anything but the spots were less than half full. Just don't know. With todays crew cab trucks most all towables are over 40ft. combination as are motorhomes with a toad. Does anyone know what the turnpike policy is regarding the length or parking of TV. or any combination over 40 ft.Re: Replace never lube bearing with traditional bearingsthe only way is to replace entire axle and hub , drum assembly . the spindles and brake drum hub are not even close. I have a hub odometer on my 2010 which shows over 60,000 mi. on 50mm never lube bearings on a 5th wheel with 16,000 gvw so far no problems ,I carry a spare but so far no need . they are more expensive about 120.00 each but no repacking or service in 8 years. I assume you have had a different experience.
