If it was repaired correctly it shouldn't affect the resale value much. It is 8 years old and there are a LOT of rv's for sale now so it's a buyers market. Re: Walmart Overnight Parking Why would you even think it was wise to leave an unattended trailer at a Walmart for a week. You lucky it wasn't towed away, or stolen. Pay the $80, you got off cheap. Re: Tow vehicles Chevy 1500 Man he is some mechanic. I can understand losing one truck, But to lose two takes some special talent Watch your 1500 closely. Don't give him the opportunity to lose another one. Re: Traveling out West from Indiana with 40' Motorhome pulling trailer w/jeep in late August. In 10 days you can drive to Yellowstone, take a picture of the welcome sign and drive back to Indiana. Re: Got small kids in RV? What a grouch! Might I suggest an over 50 RV Resort. Or, close your windows and turn on the air conditioner. Maybe watch Whoopy, she doesn't like anything either. Happy kids playing outside is on of the best sounds of summer. Often missing these days. Re: Travel advice heading west on RT 80 from Massachusetts Yeah, just grit your teeth and get thru the mess. Plan to get to northern Indiana about 10 AM. That's probably the best you can do. Re: Progressive RV Insurance requires you to have another car?Do they "REQUIRE" another car, or were they asking to apply a two vehicle discount?Re: '03 4 Winds 5000 21RB Chevy chassis 79k mi. what's it worth?Well, first off it's 20 years old. Has the roof been leaking for 6 months, or 6 years? A minor leak inside can hide a lot of damage between the roof and the ceiling. Water can leak in and travel a long way before leaking inside. Are you able to tear the roof and maybe the walls apart to repair the damage yourself? Any 20 year old RV will have water damage of some sort. If you want a project, go for it. Offer low.Re: Looking for parts for my space master bathroomParts covers a lot of ground. Do you need faucets, sink, toilet, cabinets, fooring, or something else? E bay, Amazon or your local RV dealer.Re: Anyone put a truck camper on a trailer? The first picture shows a truck camper on a trailer that is nicely done. Suggestions to the OP to buy a TT or new truck are useless advice. Not everyone has unlimited resourses. He already owns the TC. I'm sure he would like to buy new,but for economic reasons he is not able to at this time. Whether on the back of a truck or trailer, if properly place and mounted, it would work fine.
