I blew mine on 2002 f250 on my first truck camper trip.Re: what is the dumbest thing about your camper? THAT THEY DON'T MAKE THEM ANYMORERe: Tire inflationGood day 18 psi is fine for the beach. at 5 MPH your tires will not come off of the rims.Re: Help! New to Truck-camper CampingAlso check rear brake lines. I have the same truck and had the rear brake lines go the second time the camper was on the truck. Good luckRe: How are the outside lights connected? Amerigo camperGOOD DAY. The lights are wired to the connector for the truck. The tail light wires run through the ceiling beside the bathroom for the tail lights. The stock tail lights use the hinge of the snap & nap for a ground. Because the hinge is now 40+ years old you will find one day you have lights the next you don't To save yourself a lot of aggravation run 2 new wires to each tail light. Good luckRe: Finally ordered a Stable LiftCan't blame you one bit. It is for that reason when I put my Amerigo on the truck it stayed on for the summer GOOD LUCK!Re: Another Oldie. Not mine looks more like mine !Re: Rebuilding the Amerigo–Just call me the Demolition Man!Looks like a great project. When installing new running lights you will need to run 2 wires to each light as the fiberglass roof provides nothing to ground to. i also had to run 2 new wires to each brakelight as a bad ground caused the brake lights not to work at all times on the snap & nap. Good luck BobW.
