This appears easy nough to change out the complete unit ,,, Looks like 4 very long bolts come up thru from the inside to hold the unit in place. Any other special precautions I should be aware of ?? I would plan for a new seal also . Any advice Greatly appreciated !!!!Re: Dometic Thermostat Error code ??Yepper,,, Up on the roof at the AC unit where the romex supply wire comes in. I read 188.8 V. The voltage reads on top of capacitor are 212V to the compressor . Keep i mind that is a capacitor voltage read.Re: Dometic Thermostat Error code ??The other thing that confuses me is ,,, even when i run the the other 2 AC units and get cold air ,,, the thermostat again shows Error E7 ,,, loss of 120 V. to module board BUT the other 2 AC units keep runnin fine. I am runnin these AC units one at a time.Re: Dometic Thermostat Error code ??Wow ,,,, Is it typical for these A.C. units to only last 3 years ??? Since this is a Toyhauler with 14 ft garage would i get better A.C. servive from a freestanding AC unit in garage ? I also second guest myself and triple checked my connections at capacitor ,,,, they were correct,,, so i connected a boost hard start capactor ,,, compressor kicks on but blows warm airDometic Thermostat Error code ??We have 2015 Voltage Toyhauler with 3 A.C. units. Unit 3 is located in the garage area and only blows warm air. I replaced the capacitor and both the fan and compressor kicks on,,, and keep running but blows warm air. After running for just a minute the thermostatdisplays Error E7. This Error E7 indicates loss of 120 V. on module board . However the A.C. unit keeps runnin !!! If I lost 120 V on all module boards how could the unit keep runnin ?? I thinkin i got multi problems here . with the A.C. unit blowing warm and a second problem with Error code showing. Sure could use any advive or suggests as to where to look for problem ???Re: Inverter in tow vehicleYepper ,,, Good ideas here. I like to tinker and already have this pure sine wave inverter just sittin in garage. I like the idea of connecting to TT shore power and also toppin off the 2 deep cycle batterys. I might even surprise the wife and get one them electric coolers or mini frig. and put in back seat deck area of the truck and not mess with bags of ice. And maybe even get the wife thinkin this project is for her convienence and connectin to the TT just happens to be a 2nd thought !!!! AND ,,, i could tell her this is all younses ideas of how I can clean up the garage and make use of this inverter that she says just keeps siitin round in the way of things !!!!Re: Inverter in tow vehicleTHANKS ALL for the reply's,,,,, I learned something new ,,,, "duty cycle " of refridge ,,,, THANK YA MUCHRe: Inverter in tow vehicleGood info. Not sure I understand the 60percent duty cycle ??? My truck altenator is 220 amp output ,,, being a deisel it has 2 batteries, one of which is auxilary battery ,, as long as the altenator keeps both batteries fully charged can yas see any electrical hazards with connecting this. I plan to run 2/0 welding cable/battery cable from truck charging system back to the inverter in toolbox. I do understand # 10 wire extension cord for the load and distance back to the TT. 43ft 5th wheel toyhauler.Inverter in tow vehiclePlannin to wire an Inverter into my Ram 3500 charging system. I already have the inverter at no cost ,, thought I oughta do somethin with it. Thinkin I can wire this 2400 watt inverter into my truck bed toolbox. then run a #12 cord from inverter back to my trailer breaker panel and feed the refridgerator with 120 volt thru inverter. We got a full size double door residential frig and freezer. Just thinkin I could run the fridge on 120 V. instead of LP. while driving. Since we do alot of long distant trips to get south or to the rockies. Has anybody installed an Inverter to there tow vehicle ?? Can yas give your pro and cons. Any advice or instruction greatly appreciated.Re: Level-Up leveling jacksKinda thinkin the same way ,,, ain't sure just what amp the OEM breaker is. Wasn't too sure just much bigger to go ,,, Thank Ya Much
