I bought the Good Sam Roadside assistance last year for the first time. I thought it was reasonably priced. I never authorize automatic renewals on any subscription and it's a good thing I didn't. Apparently, they are not loyal to loyal customers. Renewals cost about twice what new sign-ups pay. When I called to see what I could do to get a better price, I was surprised to learn that that my credit card had already been charged the high renewal price A MONTH BEFORE MY OLD MEMBERSHIP EXPIRED. The first person I spoke to offered to give me a credit of $26, but I was so frightened by these shady business practices that I insisted on a full refund. Hello, Joe, good to hear from you. Yes, we sold our spot in paradise 3 years ago and still miss it so much. We feel so fortunate to have accrued the 16 years' of memories there and made dear friends. Ok folks, I guess I will answer my own question. Easy freeze says that silvers are at the Point, but the pinks are clogging the water now. They expect things will be better in about a week. Headed back to Ak. after leaving 3 years ago. Only for two weeks, but a wonderful treat. Catching silvers off Alison Point has always been the best. The run is usually is at the Point around Aug. 25.
