Drive on BlueRidge Pkwy & Skyline Dr; current road updates?
This will be a new experience for us in 10 days. It sounds like it may be hard to get an overall view of road closures and problems along this route. Actually, I think we will probably use parallel routes for most of it and camp near these drives, with day trips out from campsite:: 1::Any suggestion on a good source that will give accurate, easy to understand information about the roads? 2:: We prefer USFS/ COE/ county parks, etc over privately owned campgrounds. We called Discount Tire and they said they could handle our need and set an appointment for us. We were extremely pleased; they took us right in when we arrived, treated us very well, gave us a good price and great service. Yes, DISCOUNT TIRE in Las Vegas. The assistant mgr Darrell went above and beyond to make us happy. On vacation near Las Vegas and need to have tire checked on my trailer with tandem axles. Don't want ordinary auto tire dealer. Any suggestions for honest, good dealer? Need help ASAP!
