I was raised on a Chris-Craft cabin cruiser on the Mississippi and now own a Winnebago. LOLRe: Can't we all just get along? Some frustration in that situation is understandable but their attitude and language in front of children made me cringe.Re: RV Park suggestions in Las Vegas, NVGod bless you and your husband. Have you looked into a "Mobile Home" or regular "trailer" park? I don't know about LV but there are some here in NM that accept "long-term" RVs and even have a separate area for them. Is it possible for your husband to receive treatment at another facility in a different area?Re: Sirius XM AntennaI put my antenna on the metal bar where the old tv was- it works fantastic. In our class A the tv was mounted in an overhead cabinet between the driver and passenger seats. Apparently it transmits right through the fiberglass roof.Re: loud refrigerator SidecarFlip wrote: downtheroad wrote: A common complaint of floor plans with the frig in a slideout. You are hearing the cooling fans. They need extra cooling fans to move the air because there is no vent through the roof....like most RV friges. I have read that some replace the cooling fans with much quieter computer pancake fans....Might want to explore that option. Actually that is EXACTLY what I did with mine. 2 Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU fans from Flea-Bay for 30 bucks. Problem solved, no noise whatsoever. SidecarFlip, could you post a link to the fans you purchased? My Dometic is in a slide and the fans run on/off constantly. A description of your replacement would be wonderful! Thanks.Re: Absolute fantastic roadside assistance!!Thank you for posting good news of RA - some of the other comments have left me wondering if I made the right decision to have it! And, the instructions for obtaining one's GPS is most appreciated - this old lady is still struggling to learn what all the IPhone can do!Re: Caulking Ro646a wrote: I want reseal the joint where mt fiberglass roof meets the gutters. I was hoping to find a sort of bronze or brown colored Dicor, but that does not seem to be a color that they offer. Any suugestions as to the best product to use? I don't want silicone. I have pretty much the same paint on my 05 Horizon. After much research I finally ordered the clear sealant recommended by Lichtsinn.Re: Curious....anyone buy a motorhome in their 70'sBought our first MH a year ago at age 72! Now if we can get everything working properly in it (the joy of buying used) we're looking forward to hitting the road and experiencing things we never had time to do before.Re: Need opinion on portable oxygen concentratorDiz has used the Inogen One G3 for several years (on 3L) and it has been great, as is their service. We simply plug it into the 12v while on the road.
