Can it be used on a chromebook while offline?Re: Why not to buy used. There have been an over abundance of trailer, fifth wheel, Class C, Class A recalls on many many brands of RV's this year..especially the ones made in Indiana. With so many RVs selling they are having to hire people off the street just to get the product out. The cry of "Amish" made is only a portion of the truth anymore. Have met a lot of people this year who have regretted moving into a new unit as they say their old units were more reliable and better built. There are a lot of used units available that don't have problems. There are many who buy RVs and then a spouse dies or they find out RVing wasn't for them. Almost anything can be fixed...just a buyer beware situation on new or used. My biggest turn off on buying used is odor. If no odor is present then I am willing to look at a used one further. I'm happiest that someone else has taken the "buy new hit"Re: Day night shadesRemoved shades and had short curtains made of ultrasuede (which is totally light blocking). Now they can be pulled over all the window or a portion can be left open for breezes. We left top wooden valance but removed side valance so they stack nicely when opened without covering any portion of window. No holes for light to seep thru and the very best part is they can be easily removed to be washed in machine (which they do very nicely)so we are not traveling the next year with the dust that got embedded from Arizona snowbirding. I never could figure out how to get the shades totally clean. One extra bonus is that the material curtain also functions to give a sound deafening effect to the inside and adds a layer of coziness. It has been a win-win all the way around.Re: Parking lot (Pee)veWow..this seems really extreme. At 68 years old and spending most of those years living on farms with livestock barns and pastures, walking 4 miles a day for 21 years on rural roads and in nature parks, I can't imagine all the times I have most certainly stepped in poo or pee from God's creatures, yet, I am still alive and healthy. I guess it must be because I have never made it a habit to rub my hands on the bottom of my shoes.. nor eaten off my floors. Countless times over my lifetime I have had picnics on the ground and even carried my picnic blanket home in my car and guess what I'm still alive (as are my husband and children). Perhaps it might be time for you to hang up the keys and stay safely tucked away in a safe sterile environment.Re: Recommendations for 1990's model 22' Class C RVI would check out the 24' Lazy Daze. They have 2 different floor plans. They are not hard to find in California as they are made in Montclair. Both could probably be configured to be usable for your purpose. You could also retro fit one of the front seats (depending on floor plan) with a swivel base to provide another place to sit and possibly make a drop down desk area for when seat swiveled. Good luck on your hunt.Re: Newbie Here - Indiana Saying Hello!Welcome..rving is a great way to see our great nation. We are from Indiana also..I graduated from Thorntown and also grew up living on 32..but West of Lebanon. Exciting when you find a buy like you did. Very unusual..did you find it in Indiana?Re: Any Class C still made with frame windows?Lazy Daze has wonderful huge sliding windows. Can see all around wherever you are sitting in coach. Manual awning.Re: 30 foot Class C or shorter Class AThe model I meant was the 26 and 1/2 rear bath lazy Daze. It has two opposing couches and a Dinette plus the overhead bunk. The couches are large enough that you wouldn't even have to make the bed out there more the size of a twin bed so you don't have to put the bed up and down.Re: 30 foot Class C or shorter Class AI agree with c a r r i n g b as far as the safety issue goes.. above all with young children you must consider the safety. We can always do with less space than we think we can at the beginning. Lazy days are a great motorhome with lots of visual space. In that model there's room enough for 10 people to sit comfortably and Converse while seeing views out all windows.Re: Living in Cap over trailer full time adviceAbsolutely go for it you're young looking back I wish we had had the opportunity to do such a thing. If it's truly a desire and you don't do it you'll look back and regret that you didn't do what your heart was telling you to do.
