After we get the trailer out of winter storage we take it in to them to completely go over the trailer. They take pictures to show what needs to get done. A couple years ago they worked on the roof. I think it cost around $400. Since I have a disability issue and didnt do anything like that kind of work, I let them do it. Never have had a problem.Re: Wifi connection for TV Second Chance wrote: Why not keep the Dish setup and open a Dish Outdoor account? That's what we've used for 6-1/2 years of full-timing and it has worked well for us. The beauty of a Dish Outdoor account is that you can change local stations as you move around (using the MyDish app on a smartphone). Rob Rob, is there a Dish Outdoor app or does that show up after you sign up? Thanks, MarkWifi connection for TVLooking for something else that I might have missed for getting TV reception. I have a tailgater by Dish but may be dropping their service at home. Which means I will also lose the tailgater satellite. I'm told a hotspot wont support tv use. My cell phone service doesn't have the stand alone jetpack. Is there something else I can use, especially where a campground doesn't have wifi?Re: Replacing DecalsI found a sign/decal shop. They did 3 large decals for $200. They tried to get close to the same size but were a little off. For the first year the old decal remnants looked like a shadow. The sun has taken care of that now. I'm happy with the job.Re: Koala TrailersI have a Skyline Nomad, 2011. It's been a good trailer. The build quality was really exceptional. At this point, however, I have my own maintenance routine with a trailer shop. They go over the trailer thoroughly to catch anything missed in my plan. I even have found a decal shop. We are considering a larger RV but would really miss our little trailer.Re: Attaching a satellite to the top of a TTI wonder if that sat connection can be corrected. I had a professional put in the kit, but maybe your problem might be an easy cable fix.Re: Attaching a satellite to the top of a TTI got the kit from the RV maintenance people. It's not fancy, just a bar that goes through the wall of the trailer with a. Plug in on each end for coax. The outer plug in has a screw on for the weather when you are not using it. Trailer is in storage now so I can't take a picture.Re: Attaching a satellite to the top of a TTI have the tailgater and had the same connection problem. I really got tired of running the cable through the window. There is a way to bypass the cable up in the port with better better cable. I elected not to do that. Instead, I had my maintenance person just run a connection from the outside of the trailer to the inside, close to where the receiver is. It works great and there is a kit for doing it.Foam in the floorOur trailer is 9 years old. In the heavily used area the foam under the flooring isn't as high as it once was. You walk down then up to the support beam. At first I thought a water problem, but had our service people thoroughly check into that. No, its the foam deteriating after all the use. What are my options?Re: Travel When Restrictions liftedFirst trip is supposed to be May 7th about 30 miles from home. The idea was to go to a State Park to see if we thought of everything. However our Governor decided as of May 5th that camping was not going to be allowed. Day use is ok for the park. I'm having trouble understanding how the two of us in a camping spot would be a problem with the virus when hordes of people will be at the beach and boat launch for opening day fishing. I guess this is why I don't make the big bucks.
