One empties with the black tank (more toward the front of the camper) and the other empties toward the back. This back one is the one I have a question about. It appears there are two pulls to empty it and I'm not sure what they connect to. The front tank is labeled black/gray for the pulls but these other two at the back aren't. I didn't know why there were two. A second question is about the propane tanks/selector switch. The company we bought it from said to only have one tank on at a time because the selector switch doesn't really dictate which tank the propane is drawn from and if both tanks are open they'll be drawn from equally. This wasn't the case with our last camper. Any help anyone can give on any of this is greatly appreciated.camping with CPAP (no electric hookup)We would like to go to some places this summer with our travel trailer that don't have electric hookups but my son needs his CPAP for sleeping during the night. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to manage this. It seems (unless I'm missing something) that we can't run the CPAP when we don't have a power pedestal. I figured others had CPAPs they used and might have a solution to this. We have a TT that has one 12V battery on the front of it, if that helps any. Thanks for any help!!Re: Getting video on tvI made sure that the source was the AV/component, and even tried the AV plug in all three of the spot it comes out from the wall in case something was wired wrong. All to no avail.Getting video on tvWe recently purchased a new (to us, AKA used) travel trailer. It’s a Forest River Heritage Glen and has a Magnadyne RV5070 stereo/video player in it. I can get the stereo to work but when I try to play a DVD I can hear the DVD in the speakers but can’t get a picture on the TV. The wires are red, white and yellow audio cables. I tried plugging in the cables from the wall to the TV and get no picture, but when I use our portable DVD player and plug it in to the TV in the same spots a picture comes up. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Re: Water pumpThe pump will kick on (we can hear it) then stop. Nothing comes out of the lines - any faucet - not even air like it does before we have water in the lines.Water pumpOur water pump is on (pulling fresh water from the tank), we recently went to use the water at the faucet and nothing came out (even though the pump switch was on). We tried a little while later and it worked - both the pump running and water coming out. We have plenty of water in the tank but are confused about the intermittent water delivery. Any suggestions?Re: Replacing tail light enblethen wrote: Hopefully it is not normal silicone! If it is get it all off! Use geotex type sealant. Tailight should come with gasket! What’s geotex sealant? The tape type stuff?Re: Replacing tail lightThanks all. Got it figured out. Next question - how much of the silicone do I need to get off from around where the light was before reattaching the new light fixture and sealing it again?Replacing tail lightI am replacing the whole tail light on my camper because the license plate holder broke off of it. I have it taken off and have the wires ready to go back on but seem to not be able to crimp the wire nuts enough to make the wires stay put. I got the wire nuts at Lowe’s and it looked like they were the same ones I took off, but maybe not. Any suggestions?.Re: lights on trailer on when driving Bobbo wrote: Chad/Jen wrote: Bobbo wrote: Chad/Jen wrote: When bringing my trailer home over the weekend I noticed that the lights to my truck ('14 Chevy Silverado) were on (not just the DRLs but the actual headlights and taillights). Since you can't see either the headlights or the tail lights from the driver's seat, how do you know they were on? The lights on the dash and control panel came on. Those aren't on with just the DRLs. I have a 2017 F-150 XLT and the dash and control panel lights don't come on with the headlights. They have their own light sensor. In modern vehicles, they may not be a good indicator that the headlights are on. Test that the next time. When that happens again, stop and get out of your vehicle and look at the vehicle tail lights to see if they are on. Ah...I didn't realize that. Thanks...I'll have to check it out.
