Is the repeater necessary? If so, was it difficult to hook up to the battery? Ours is a 2016 model-the battery is inclosed in the plastic case. Also curious if anyone has any recommendations. Looking at the TST 507 and possibly the TireMinder i10. Also saw on previous threads the flow-through stems aren't worth the potential problems and to just go with the button sensors. Thank you for your advice.Re: Water Heater QuestionThank you Old-Biscuit. I checked the bypass and sure enough it wasn’t completely open. Appreciate the help!!Re: Water Heater QuestionI tried both but the outcome was the same. We’ve owned the rig since it was new so we know how hot the water used to get. Seems like some sort of a temperature regulator issue but not sure how to correct. There is a type of a circuit board on the upper-right side of the unit when you drop the door outside. I don’t think I can post a photo here.Water Heater QuestionWe have a 2016 Grand Design Reflection 337 with an Atwood Gas/Electric water heater. It is still heating the water but the temperature is noticeably cooler than in the past. Is there something I need to replace? Thank you.Re: Winterizing - remove batteries or not?I keep our in and keep power to the camper/battery during the winter. Have been doing this for years.Re: Youtube TV, a positive experience CincyGus wrote: I dropped DTV about a year ago as a cost saving measure. My bill was $135 a month along with a $80 a month Fiberoptic internet bill, I was running about $215 a month on entertainment (Internet+TV). I downloaded Playstation Vue (Don't need a playstation to use this, available app on any smart TV or RUKU/Amazon fire-stick/etc. I got all stations that we watched, More sports channels and HBO and Showtime (which we didn't have in our $135 DTV package) for $80 a month (Their max channel selection package), cutting my bill $55. I also got the ability to watch everything I get at home on my phone and tablet. It has a DVR function that records programs you select and keeps them for 30 days. I use it to Cast/stream to my camper's smart TV through my cell's internet connection when we have good cell service and watch OTA/DVD's or Amazon Prime movies I have downloaded on my tablet that I can cast to the TV when we have poor internet connection. I'm not a big TV watcher when we are camping but we have the bases covered if it's raining cats and dogs and get stuck inside or want to watch a movie before going to bed. We’ve been PlayStation Vue subscribers for a couple of years and really like it. It does travel well with the camper. We aren’t big TV watchers as a rule but nice to have on the road. We use it with an Amazon FireStick and Verizon.Re: Status of Florida state parksLooks like Topsail is open for camping again.Re: Suburban LP Only Waterheater enblethen wrote: Is this a pilot light or a DSI water heater? DSI could have dirty or restricted burner tube, bad gas valve, or improperly adjusted ignitor flame sensor. Pilot light version could be bad gas valve or bad thermo-couple. Thank you-it is a DSI.Re: Suburban LP Only WaterheaterSoundGuy-yes that is what he will do if it isn’t something easy to fix on his own. 2oldman-plugged into power and everything else electrical seems to be working well.
