These vehicles were all driven regularly so tje fuel was always new. DEF will eventually expire. I would fill your tank if it's going to sit for months. wouldn’t it be better to not fill the tank so you can put fresh stuff in when your ready to go again?Re: Do we have a pickup glut already? Now if they only had a policy that their dealers can not r ape the buyer by charging $5K or more over MSRP. I personally hope new sales slide off the cliff, which seems to start to be happening and accelerating. So basically you’re hoping for a deep (off the cliff) recession or worse?Re: Trying to locate parts.Have you tried a scrap yard?Re: Residency and voters rights in South DakotaGee, I can’t imagine how dead people and their imaginary friends could be disenfranchised. That’s all anyone is trying to stop from voting.Re: Voting in South Dakota may change rk911 wrote: as i understand , the gist is that only those who have real property in South Dakota, not just a mailing address, will be allowed to vote. There is a rubber piece that keeps what’s outside from coming inside; and generally a transition piece between the two floors. The particulars depend on the slide.Re: How to keep a TC from being stolen when not on the truck? joelc wrote: Don't know about a trailer, but there is a lock that goes around the hitch pin on a 5er and I assume that they would have a like lock for a trailer coupling. They would have to destroy the hitch to get the lock off. Then of course, they could not steal it anyway. You’re assuming that a thief that was out trying to find a fifth wheel to steal wouldn’t have a battery powered cutoff tool (or torch - if he’s really serious) with him. Ever hear about the catalytic converter thefts? However, any thief that is going to target a TC, 5er, or trailer is going to want to have that particular unit pretty badly to begin with, because they are not normally easy targets for a quick buck.
