And the wiring from the controller to the battery should be balanced and neither one of your diagrams is balanced. Moving the - wire for option 1 to the right hand - battery post would be balanced. Controller is a no brainer JUST think of my diagram as the controller wires Now what is your answerRe: Solar Array Install on a Lance 1995Hooking up just one solar panel two 2 battery's Re: Solar Array Install on a Lance 1995Well yes I know how to hook up to battery's my question is hooking a solar charging system into the 2 battery's Re: Solar Array Install on a Lance 1995 CA Traveler wrote: TheWB wrote: abslayer wrote: Solar hook Up Question When one hooks up a solar panel in a camper with 2 battery’s ?? Do you but say nav wire to first battery and the plus on 2nd battery ?? That is preferred method and the one I used. Although both on one battery would work. It's just that over a long period of time, one battery would get a better workout than the other. ALL wiring to the batteries should be connected as balanced. A little less life if it is not. Just what you saying please hook both from solar to main battery or as I suggested??Re: Solar Array Install on a Lance 1995Solar hook Up Question When one hooks up a solar panel in a camper with 2 battery’s ?? Re: Update: Ford f350 6.2 and heavy camperYou just can't beat a diesel for heavy loads and that is why they will bury me with my 350 ford diesel. I swear it would pull any load straight up.:B Maintenance can be a stiff cost but well worth it.Re: Report: Coleman Polar Cub AC and truck camper RamTC wrote: I agree, the Polar Cub's been working well in my AF for 9 yrs. now, but even it's low profile puts me at 11'9" Works well with the Honda 2K generator as well. I agree and the big reason I got one of them is WORKS great with Honda 2K generator that was a must for me.
