Their coverage here in Ontario is a little spotty when you get away from the cities. And now it's called freedom Mobile. Originally my reason for going with them was that for $15 a month on top of my Canadian plan at$35 I had unlimited calls and Data all over the US with AT&T. with that plan I had the same phone number on my cell whether I was was in USA or Canada. We did not go south this winter because of a health problem so I don't know how how it's working now but I certainly was very happy with it before that. I've also experienced that their coverage here locally has been better since they've been bought out and I think they're putting up more antennas.Re: Where you going this Winter?I should know better then to to look at the snow bird form. On the morning of Augest 9 my DW found that she could not understand what I was saying to her and she came around to my side of the bed and saw that I was having a stroke. She called 911. after my 3rd cat scan the Doc came in and asked me do you want the good news or the bad news? I could tell by the look on his face it was not all bad. So I told him give me what you have. He told me you are clear and you can go home. But we have to tell the licence department. By the time I got home there was a letter there telling me I had to turn in my DL. My DW will not drive the coach and after this I will have to wait before I can any out of provnce health insurance. So while you are enjoying the sunny south we will be fighting the snow in Ontario. I just feel so thankful that I don't have any physical impairment. When I see people with walkers and wheel chairs. I know how blessed I am. wishing all of you a good winter.Re: Niagara Falls and ???My post regarding St Jacobs I meant to Quote stevemorris post regarding Kitchener Waterloo. That area is much closer to the falls.Re: Niagara Falls and ??? Kentucky_Joe wrote: Can anyone tell me about some type of scenic drive around Lake Superior. If you go this way try to stop at the StJacobs Market www.stjacobs.com/Farmers-Market It is open only Thursday and Saturday as well as Tuesday until Labour Day. In the market you will see old order Mennonites selling there produce. Be sure to sample summer sausage and also maple syrup. Just up the road is the Village of St Jacobs with many nice shops. Also in the village an exhibit that you might like is The Mennonite Story. It tells about why they live the way they do based on there history. There is also a nice model train display. The best RV park only a few miles away is Green Acre RV Park in Waterloo. IN the peak season it would be good to make a reservation.Re: Your winter destinationI can not get DW to go before Christmas so we leave the first day in January that the weather reports look good for travel. We plan to be back in Ontario middle June to do taxes. That means I have to winterize and de-winterize a number of times. Most years I have do it again in April because we do not have electricity where we store our RV. We have been doing this for many years going to Florida Texas or AZ. We go south as fast as we safely can in January but follow the warm weather north in the spring. Enjoy your time in the south check out lots of places.Re: Head onI will never forget as a 19 year old laying on stretcher in hospital a ER. Drifting in and out of consciousness with a feeling that there were bright car lights coming at me. One time when I kind of came to I relised there was police officer looking down at me I asked who caused it? He said I don't see how it could have you as your car was totaly off on the right sholder and you were hit head on. I then decided I wanted to live even though my father had let me use is brand new car.It turner out the other driver was drunk. I hope that anyone here ever drinks and drives.Re: Drain master hose pitch wrote: "A fool and his money -----" If am a fool then I'm a happy fool. I have a Drain Master hose and I can tell you it was not easy to get that money from me. On our motor home I could not get a leak free connection with several brands of hose including Rhino. The Drain Master does not leak even a drop. It is a lot of money but I no longer feel bad about the puddle under my stinky slinky. It must be the way our coach is plumbed as I never had this problem with our other RVs. I don't think I will ever have to buy an other hose.Re: SkyMed Policy? If you have a motorized rv and you join FMCA it is included with your membership. As Canadians we will not go to the USA With out out of province medical insurance and those plans seem to have that coverage. I'm still glad to have the FMCA coverage for when we travel in Canada.Re: Things to do along I 75 FL to ONThank's for the quick suggestions but we need to put in a little time before we get to OH. There is a weather advisory for Lima with blowing snow for Lima today. We do want to see our daughter and her family but not in that weather.Things to do along I 75 FL to ONWe are going to the FMC Rally in Perry GA (March 17-20) on our way home to Ontario from Florida on I 75. We don't want to go directly home as it will still be cold in Ontario. We have to be home by April 12 and will be spending about a week with family in Lima Ohio. That still leaves us some time to be tourists along the way. Any ideas for things along the way?
