But I am assuming by “checked the panel” you mean you checked all the circuit breakers to ensure they weren’t tripped. If not, that’s the first place to start. After that, you need to ensure the incoming feed(s) (both if it’s a 50 amp) have power, and both sides of all the circuit breakers have power. If any of that is not the issue, then somewhere you likely got critters chewing wires or other similar issues (chaffing, pinched, bent and broken, etc). Re: Campground for the kiddos. So what was the cost? Re: 1997 Beaver does it hep to skirt? Yes it will help, and insulating the skirting with styrofoam or straw bales will help even more. Not knowing anything about where you’re overwintering at it’s pretty hard to say just how far you should go with insulation. Re: Filling and emptying water tanks at camp Here is what I did. I filled a 5 gallon bucket with water from my hose. it took 50 seconds. Simple math determined the rate was 1 gallon every 10 seconds. Knowing that I can fill my water tank with whatever amount of water I choose with a little easy math and the timer function on my phone. As for draining the tanks, they're empty when the water stops draining out of them; either that or the drain line is stopped up/plugged. Now if you are relying on the gauges to tell you if they are empty or not, the gauges are rarely reliable. The gauge could read half full when in reality the tanks are empty. Re: Bad Window Seal? Dicor Lap Sealant, probably the “no sag” line. The other possibility is to take the window out and reset it using butyl tape sealant. Re: TV First, assuming your TV antenna is plugged into the jack, push the antenna booster button which is usually right next to the jack. Then find the crank and raise the antenna (idepending on model), then turn the antenna towards the direction of the most likely major city with TV transmitters. Now you’re ready to turn on the TV, and in the TV menu you need to find the “scan for channels” function. Once the scan is complete, it may take a few minutes, you should be good to go. Re: Jayco vs Grand Design Basically the first sentence says it all. To paraphrase: The frame height alone does not determine the strength of the frame. Re: Jayco vs Grand Design The height of the frame (I.e.: the web of the beam) is not the sole determining factor for the strength of the frame. The flexural strength of the beam (section modulus) is determined by several factors, depth of the web being only one such factor. I can make a 2-inch webbed beam with a higher section modulus than a 6-inch webbed beam, by easily changing one of several factors which could include thickness, steel strength, shape of the section, cutouts, etc.. The thing is, you could easily by fooled by a manufacturer by looks alone without knowing which one actually has the higher section modulus. And good luck trying to find that little nugget of information. Re: Anderson weeight distribution hitch Reese, Andersen, BW, Curt, etc. - Brand really doesn’t matter; more important is that they are set up and used properly, are sized correctly for the trailer weight, and you are comfortable with its setup, function and use. Re: AC Fan Motor spins backwards How about turning the fan around on the shaft of the motor.
