(revision 2)Might be a good idea to ask your question on the NL owners Facebook page. The forum website has been down for quite sometime.Re: NL owners and others, will it fit?You should be fine, you can see in my signature what I am running. I do have a rubber bed mat no need to raise my NL I have a basement. You dodge doesn't have the "extra curve" in the back of your bed like GM's do, one of the reasons I don't have a GM, presently.Re: Turned away, told me they dont accept truck campers westernrvparkowner wrote: Their website clearly states that they do not accept truck campers. They do not care how much you spent to buy it. Like thousands of other businesses, they have a business model that does not include you. Go elsewhere. That will make both sides happy. Very well said.Re: Buying a new camper, which one?Your going to love your new Northern Lite!Re: My new DC (only) RefrigeratorGreat upgrade! I am wanting to do the same to my NL someday.Re: Replacing 19.5's Toyo M-608Z.. Looking for adviceI originally put the Toyos on my Ricksom wheels (245's) last fall I switched them out for the Coopers I am happy so far but they are not broke in yet. I got terrible mileage out of the Toyos only about 25K I rotated them every 10K mikes, perhaps I was just unlucky? I like the looks and handling of the Coopers so far, as well as the price point !Re: Considering new 2016 Big Foot 25C9.4 for short bedGood for you! We don't live quite as far from our dealer as you do but close to it. I'm 62 and love my northern lite and dodge SRW one ton combo. I think you'll be happy.Re: talk to me about built-in LP gennies...Another happy camper with my propane generator. I ran a Honda 2k generator for over 10 years and enjoyed it as well. I mainly use a generator for microwave and keurig but have sparingly for the air conditioner as well. With my propane generator, I like the ease of use with no extra gas can, hauling the generator out of the generator slide, and no more cranking excercises particularly at high altitude. Maybe I'm just lazier than I used to be? My propane generator is quiet, easy to start and maintain.Re: Cassette toilet vs porta pottyHaving had both, the cassette toilet is much cleaner and easier to care for. It's in a fixed location, you normally unload the cassette outside of the Camper instead of moving it arround inside, it's also easy and cleaner to store chemicals with the cassette outside. Emptying the contents would be similar with either one. I do wish I currently had a cassette toilet and either more storage or a larger water or gray water tank. I believe a cassette toilet is now optional for NL TC's.
