IIRC, there was only 1 traditional pop-up on site that we saw. We had Starcraft and Venture pop-ups growing up. Went all over the US and Canada.Re: Exploring Florida...Recommendations wantedWe enjoyed tent camping at Paynes Prairie Preserve/State Park. Didnt see the buffalo but did see the Spanish wild horses. Nearby Sweetwater Wetlands Park is a nice day trip but you are in the open (sun screen/water needed). Unfortunately, as with most (all?) FL State Parks, getting reservations will be difficult. The only way we got in was via walk-in tent sites. Santa Rosa probably the most expensive but i dont know costs. If not focused on staying on the coast, look into the various state campgrounds inland such as in the Blackwater State Park like Bear Lake Campground.
