we had that problem with our MH. Repaired at the Forrest City, IA Winnebago plant. In addition to screws backing out, they found screws corroded and broken off. New stainless steel screws were installed all the way around the roof trim in addition to completely recaulking the roof/sidewall seam.775Views0likes0CommentsRe: How to Remove Window ??
I had to remove my driver's side window. It is held in with screws from the inside through the inner frame into the outside frame. Remove the screws from the inside, remove the inside frame and "pop" the window to the outsude. I had to use a putty knife to break the seslant between the outer frame and the MH body before the window could be removed. If you decide on a replacement, Ford’s HD4R100 is a good one which comes with warranty. In 2001 or 2002 I went to Lead Hill, Arkansas in my F-250 Powerstroke and had Brian’s Truck Shop (BTS) rebuild my 4R100. Leaving there towing a 7;000# TT the sharp, crisp shifts were immediately noticeable. To this day, it is just as responsive.
