In addition to screws backing out, they found screws corroded and broken off. New stainless steel screws were installed all the way around the roof trim in addition to completely recaulking the roof/sidewall seam.Re: How to Remove Window ??I had to remove my driver's side window. It is held in with screws from the inside through the inner frame into the outside frame. Remove the screws from the inside, remove the inside frame and "pop" the window to the outsude. I had to use a putty knife to break the seslant between the outer frame and the MH body before the window could be removed. It come out and reinstalls from the outside.Re: Oil fill questionIf you know someone who uses WalMart DEF in their diesel, get the screw on pour nozzle/extension from them when their DEF container is empty. We have towed ours, 4 - down, over 80,000 miles all over the country trouble free. Follow the directions in the owners manual when towing. There may be some RV repair facilities that are spin offs from the previous Class A manufacturers located there.Re: Coach Net vs Good SamI’ve had good service from Coach Net every time I needed help on the road. Think about these road service organizations. There are only so many service providers out there, in many cases they contract out to the several different companies like Coach Net and Good Sam. I just get in the second lane from the right and go with the flow.Re: Modern Rebuilt Trans for TowingIf you decide on a replacement, Ford’s HD4R100 is a good one which comes with warranty. In 2001 or 2002 I went to Lead Hill, Arkansas in my F-250 Powerstroke and had Brian’s Truck Shop (BTS) rebuild my 4R100. Leaving there towing a 7;000# TT the sharp, crisp shifts were immediately noticeable. To this day, it is just as responsive. Yes, definitely upgrade ypur transmission cooling and add a transmission temperature gauge.Re: Installing a slide out room in an existing coachPossibly HWH Corp. in Moscow, Iowa.
