These are the numbers I can see on the trailer hitch (dy) 683 lbs UVW 6933 NCC 1567 GVWR 8500Sway Control options - help pleaseWe are a 2019 F150 ecoboost with towing capacity of 13,000 lbs. We are pulling a 2015 TimberRidge 28' trailer, 6933 lbs. We have a Reese equalizer hitch system (1000 lbs bars). We are looking to add some sway control but there are many options. We could add the Reese sway to our existing system; We could add just add a different brand of sway control; or we could get a whole new system (Camco eaz lift and Fastway E2 hitch systems have been recommended by friends) Looking for opinions to guide us. TIARe: Vehicle Insurance in Sonora without a FMM (Visa)Update: we got an FMM by buying it on-line. When we crossed the border back from Mexico at Sonoyta, we were not asked for it at all, so I hope this doesn't mean they think we're still in the country?Re: Sonoyta /Lukeville crossingOur time in San Carlos has been amazing. We'll definately be back!Re: Sonoyta /Lukeville crossingWe got it on-line - talked to the immigration office in Guaymus and they said it didn't have to be stamped. We only had to have one and it was as legal as a stamped document. So yay!Re: Sonoyta /Lukeville crossingHaving read this thread, I'm still confused where we turn in our FMM''s. We do not have a TIP as it was not required. ThanksRe: Vehicle Insurance in Sonora without a FMM (Visa)We are in San Carlos, really don't want to have to do that.Re: Vehicle Insurance in Sonora without a FMM (Visa)Update: Talked to the Insurance company. The TIP or FMM are not a pre-requisite for the insurance. If anything happends we are fully covered. That's a relief. However, still nervous about the possible repercussions of not having the FMM or TIP.Re: Vehicle Insurance in Sonora without a FMM (Visa)The insurance carrier - GNP Seguros, did not ask for a TIP, or FMM. We bought the deluxe package with full coverage. I've sent them a message, but haven't heard back from them yet. I wish there was a place to get up to date information. The websites all say something different than what you're all saying here.Vehicle Insurance in Sonora without a FMM (Visa)I was on another thread about the border crossing at Lukeville when I originally mentioned this problem. I thought I would post it under a new topic to get a broader audience. This is our first time travelling with our RV to Mexico. We have Mexico insurance on our RV and Truck. We are In San Carlos Mexico and planning on staying in the Free Zone. My understanding is that we don't need TIP as long as we stay in this zone. What I didn't realize we needed was a travel Visa (FMM). We were not stopped or asked at the border for this documentation or we would have got it then. Now, I'm hearing that our Insurance would be void if we were to get into an accident. Is that true? Also, is there any way to get our FMM from here so we can correct this. Thanks.
