Would make a nice day trip to check it out. We stayed at Maitland Shores in Dunnville in 2010. With new owners wondering if it has changed for the better. Also, curious if the town has gotten more 'citified', or is it still a small town.Re: Ontario, Canada JD and Beastlet wrote: Nope, but we have stayed at Rock Point Provincial Park a couple of times and would recommend it. Just down the road from Dunnville. Booked at .Maitland. Thanks, will check out Rock Point.Ontario, CanadaWondering if anyone has stayed at Dunnville,Ontario, Canada, at a campground called Maitland Shores. It is on the Grand River that leads into Lake Erie. ThanksI65?Florida to Niagara Falls....which would be an easier drive.....I75 or I65? I know I10 to 231 to I65 will take longer, and will avoid mountains, but how are the roads on that route? I75 still have repairs going on (from rock slide I believe)?Re: Anyone have this problem? (long post)Well, we leave in a week for Niagara Falls Canada. Dreading this no overdrive problem. We have drained a little trans fluid. Would be great if that was the problem. Will take longer, but thinking I10 to I65 would be less stressful if we have to stop at side of road rather than I75. Thanks to all who responded. Will update if we solve this.Re: Anyone have this problem? (long post) wildmanbaker wrote: Did you have a "shift kit" put in it when rebuilt? Some kits do not get along with GM transmissions well and can cause these systems. A dealer or a real transmission shop should be able to read any codes/information about the trans from the ECU. Let us know what you find the problem is. A shift kit was not installed as far as we know. Was not on the bill and since the mechanic has died and shop closed we cannot confirm. We were hoping to get some "experts" on here to give us a little knowledge before picking a repair facility. Then, at least we may be able understand what they are telling us and perhaps tell if they are being truly truthful.Re: Anyone have this problem? (long post) AllegroD wrote: You had a tranny rebuilt. How long ago? Should they be fixin' this? We had app in 3 days but the owner died and the shop never reopened. :( At that point it was just the reverse when warm that didn't work.Re: Anyone have this problem? (long post) rcmiller32 wrote: First thing is to check the fluid level. To much fluid will cause problems not allowing fluid to drain back down properly. To little of fluid will cause aeration of the fluid. Possibly the filter has become lose or unhooked and sucking air. If electronic transmission could have a bad solenoid. We know the Trans fluid is way over filled. Noticed that when checking levels before leaving. Must have been done when service done as we never added any.Re: Anyone have this problem?
