All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Looking for info on TSD LogisticsI returned from Houston two weeks ago, round trip from SoCal. I saved just over $134 by stopping at 6 different Love's Truck Stops. Using the Love's app, I didn't even have to go inside!! Just attached my TSD fuel card to the app then pay on my phone at the pump. Best savings was 17% off list price at two stops, one at 16% off, another at 12% off, and least amount saved was two stops for 9% off list. Money came out of my chosen account exactly as it should and I'm happy with the program.Re: Honda 2000i Carb Job With Photos Must Read!!!!!I'm sorry, but without pictures... should this still be a sticky?Re: Anything new on skipncharThank you for the update Kevin. So sorry to hear about his wife... I didn't know. I can understand lack of interest when you're used to having someone else around.Re: Anything new on skipncharOut of the blue I thought of skipnchar and how I haven't seen any post from him for a long time. Obviously I'm not the only one and it only took me a few months longer to get around to doing a search for him. I hope he and his family are well and he simply took a break from posting.Re: Sumo springs. Anybody got them?I installed the fronts just just a few months ago and liked them so much I went ahead and bought and installed the rear. They are NOT at all like the factory bump stops and have much more cushy material than I imagined. I already had the Koni's, steering stabilizer, rear trac-bar, and thought I'd try these. It made a HUGE difference for me, my wife, and our motorhome. I bought the Solo's that only mount from the top, the least expensive ones. Side to side play and rocking is much tighter now. Going over speed bumps and dips in the road are much improved and pulling in and out of our driveway is much better. It also changed the way it handles on the road with improved wind resistance, and I drive in a lot of wind! Seriously, these are the cats meow for us. I don't sell these and make no money from them. I bought mine online from the best price I could find. It's just a good product that I am really benefiting from.Re: Looking at entry level Class As..... ualdriver wrote: Thanks Tom. I've probably seen about 10 different RVs so far. I did just see a 32bh Fleetwood Storm today, too. It was very nice, but I think a bit big for our needs. Searching every night, waiting for a combination of a great deal and the right RV :) Just my $0.02... with a growing family, slightly bigger can have unseen benefits when traveling. Also, having bunks for little ones (or even big ones!) so they have their own space and your not waiting on fixing the table back from a bed is huge! Not saying you can't do it or it wont work... just saying bigger is sometimes better. I've got a 36ft BH, so a 32ft BH seems kind of small to me. ;) Absolutely be patient and wait for the right MH and deal. It's worth it!! Good luck!!Re: Odd commentsOnce, stopping for gas while towing my Prius, the lady pumping gas next to me asked what kind of mileage I got. I told her between the Prius and the motorhome I average 27 MPG. She looked at me kind of funny then said "That's not bad at all!".Re: The end all thread on class A gas mpg with v10I average around 26 MPG when towing my Prius. :) But when not towing that I get around 7.5 with Genny running. Same as a few others, I don't really check anymore. I've got to get where I'm going and I've got to get home so if it needs it I put it in and run it until it needs more.Re: Purchasing a New Coach -> Trading Old Flanz wrote: Which is okay - I get it and will work with it, but there should be no reason why we can't work out a really good % off the new coach. There lies my dilemma, trying to understand what % will be offered off of MSRP for the new coach. Which is why I agree with the others.... make your best deal on buying the new coach before mentioning the trade in. I did just that a few years ago and was very pleased with the outcome. I knew exactly how much I was paying for the new one and exactly how much they were paying for the old one. Negotiate the new one until your happy, then say you thought about selling the old one outright but if they can make you a decent offer on it that will make your decision to buy the new one that much easier. Good luck!!Re: RV Resorts vs Campgrounds Pogoil wrote: afrescop wrote: $30 more a night X2! Wow, $60 a night!!! That's some resort.:B
