He is home now thankfully, but need to stick around locally. I did save all the information every supplied and will look to do this trip sometime sooner rather than later. Thanks again for sharing.Re: St. Augustine/Hilton Head/SavannahAlways open for some new directions. I am by Hazlet, NJ. We have done 95 south, 81 south, and once in the way back from Myrtle to OC, went east and took the CBBTRe: St. Augustine/Hilton Head/SavannahThanks for all the info. I am leaning towards FL to satisfy the warm weather request. Gonna make some phone calls and see if there is any availability with the short notice. Looking at North Beach, Ocean Grove, and Bryn Mawr as locations. And I def agree with the overnight drive. We have made several trips to Myrtle Beach and Florida and always leave at night. More relaxed ride for me.St. Augustine/Hilton Head/SavannahLooking for some suggestions on where to go. Looking at the week of December 28th. Been looking into St. Augustine, Hilton Head, and Savannah. Young family with kids. I am off from work and they have off from school. Even though the weather has been unseasonably warm up here in the northeast, looking to just get away and enjoy the week. Anyone travel to these areas this time of year with a family? Is it too quiet or are these areas south enough where area attractions are open, and weather is still warm? As for how warm, I would be fine with 40 degree highs, but my better half is probably looking for 60-70 degree highs. Thanks in advance for all the suggestions.New Jersey to Dandridge, TennesseeLooking for a good stopping point for a day or two that is family oriented between New Jersey and Dandridge, TN.Re: First timeSo I hooked it all back up again last night and it worked. I am thinking you may be right and I didn't get the plug seated perfectly which may have caused it go back out a drop. I guess I am just going to have to take another trip and see how if I run into the same problem. Of course I will do a test drive locally with a follow car for safety purposes first.First timeJust returned from my first trip towing my Wrangler JKU behind my Jayco Greyhawk. Made it almost all the way home, two hour trip(half mile away from house), and my wiring came loose at the 7-way and I lost my lighting on the Jeep. Thank you to a passing motorist for advising. Other than that, it was smooth sailing. Have to say I was a little nervous at first. My setup is a 2015 Jayco Greyhawk and 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I used the Currie baseplate, with the ReadyBrute Elite towbar, and wiring from Trailermate that plugged in to the factory taillights.Re: 2015 Wrangler Unlimited questionsThanks for the info. Dealer by me has a really cheap lease special right now so thinking of picking up a new JK with some low monthly payments and then just buy it out at the end of the lease.Re: 2015 Wrangler Unlimited questionsThis may be a stupid question, but I am new to dinghy towing. I am looking at leasing a JK and was curious if the odometer recorded while towing.Re: NJ to FL - place to see in between?Heading to visit friends in West Palm and then to Disney
